Abstract
This paper attempted to reveal how the youth who have experienced school violence view school violence. For this purpose, data were collected through in-depth interviews with six adolescents who experienced school violence from June 2019 to July 2023. Based on this data, it was analyzed using phenomenological methods. As a result of the analysis, youth’s experience of school violence was found to fall into four high-level categories: Schools that force distinction, Triangle of violence, Perpetrators and victims like a round song, and Obtaining respect within the community. Additionally, 10 subcategories were derived from each supercategory. Based on these research results, implications and suggestions for adolescent school violence were proposed.
